Brickwork Studio is a creative studio space available to hire near Derby City Centre.

Situated in the heart of Derby within the creative hub of Darley Abbey Mills, the studio is located on the third floor of a Grade I Listed Industrial Mill featuring original brick walls and Georgian windows, letting light flood into the space.

Perfect for photography, video, workshops and small events, the main space measures approximately 10.5.0m x 5m with a breakout space, kitchen facilities as well as equipment and backdrops for a range of creative projects and meetings.

Whether you need a space to shoot, record or host, Brickwork Studio is available to hire for short 2 hour sessions or on a half/full day basis.

Our facilities include a variety of photo paper roll backdrops, lighting equipment, studio microphones, and versatile props, providing all the essentials to capture striking visuals and compelling audio.

 brickwork studio + FAQs

  • To book, simply fill in our contact form below with your details + requirements and we’ll be in touch to ASAP to follow up and book you in.

  • Ample parking is available on the Darley Abbey Mills site. (currently accessed via Haslams Lane)

  • We are located on the third floor of an industrial mill building and access is via the stairs. Regrettably, there is no lift. Please bare this in mind if bringing large equipment on site.

  • Full payment is required 7 days before your hire date.

    Cancellations can be made up to 48 hours before the hire date. A refund will be given or the booking can be transferred to a new date.

    If the booking is cancelled within 48 hours no refund will be given however the booking can be transferred to a new date.
